Swarna has been practicing yoga since 2005 and sharing her love of it by teaching since 2010. She has completed her teacher training in India. Her passion and mission in life is to spread the benefits of Yoga to all those who are interested and open to its philosophy. Her friendly, down-to-earth approach to teaching has helped make it accessible to hundreds of people of all ages and abilities. She specializes in detailed instruction with an emphasis on healthy alignment and safe practices which is a favourite among students of basic & intermediate levels 
It is her aim to encourage her students to become body-aware, to establish a relationship with their breath, and to develop a compassionate and joyful attitude towards themselves and the world around them. It is her belief that Yoga is the relationship that is built between the body, the mind and the breath. 
“My practice has helped me grow stronger, more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires me to live each moment more mindfully. Who I am today has really been shaped by the practice that I found and fell in love with years ago. So I will do my absolute best to give you the best chance to wildly succeed in your practice, and in your life. My hope is that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced”.

Swarna takes the following classes:
Thursday: 10.45am
Friday: 6.30pm
Saturday: 9.15am
