Ange is a vibrant part of the Windy Hill Fitness Centre community, balancing life as a mum, a business owner, and a committed gym goer. Staying active has always been part of her routine, and fitness plays a key role in how she takes time for herself.
Each weekday morning, right after the school drop off, Ange makes her way to the gym. With class times starting around 9:15am or 9:30am, the schedule fits perfectly into her daily rhythm, allowing her to enjoy a solid 45-minute to one hour workout before the day gets busy.
Ange thrives on variety and loves mixing up her workouts throughout the week. From strength training to group fitness, every class brings something different, which keeps her motivated and energised. She uses the weekend to rest and recover, ensuring balance in her routine.
Now in her 50s, Ange is focusing more on strength and weight training. She’s especially enjoying the new PowerX class on Tuesday mornings, which gives her the extra push to build strength and stay healthy.
Since joining nearly two years ago, thanks to a friend’s recommendation, Ange has found more than just a place to train, she’s found a community. She’s built connections with people of all ages, and loves the social side of fitness just as much as the workouts. For her, it’s about coming in, moving her body, having a laugh, and sharing a great session with others.
Her approach to fitness is simple and powerful: keep going. Even small efforts count, and every bit of movement adds up. Ange is living proof that consistency, community, and a positive mindset are key to feeling great.
